Leala is an Education Specialist and MTSS expert from Rochester, NY holding a Masters in Psychology from Medaille College and a Bachelors from Hilbert College. With over ten years experience, she has worked to close the educational achievement gap in New York and Washington, DC.
Leala is passionate about connecting families with schools and resources that ensure student success, especially in underserved communities. She is also dedicated to educating Black communities about wealth through travel and expanding their worldviews.
Through her work, Leala strives to drive equity and innovation in education while fostering community impact.
MERCEDES JAMES
Mercedes is a creative from Rochester, NY. She is the director of a large health program across Washington, DC.
She earned a Masters in Public Health from Montclair State University, and a Bachelors in Health and Society from
University of Rochester.
She has a passion for developing sustainable and self-efficient Black communities.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and currently works as an attorney in Washington, DC.
Stephanie is interested in justice, equity, and Black generational wealth.
